Fantastic book. Outlines the necessary elements for healtful farming. By replacing trace elements through new soil instead of harmful fertilizers, you will have food that has the needed properties, rich in all that is necessary for true health. Not "new", just "needed"

I ordered and read this book as part of my research and desire to revive the practice of applying rock dust as a topical fertilizer in agriculture. Although the book was written to address an audience in the late 1890's, the documented results of the rock fertilizer testing are sound and applicable today. That data I garnered from this book corroborates recent research data and personal testing. This is a great primer on the practice of rock dust application in agriculture and how it so positively impacts the quality of our soils and further affects the nutritional value of the foods produced from said treated soil

At first readers will find those photos as fake as 16-year-old Jacob does, believing them to be nothing more than false memories that helped his grandfather survive WWII. But when monsters prove to be real and kill Jacob’s grandfather, the boy must flee to an island off the coast of Wales to find the “peculiar” children who sheltered his grandfather, who will help Jacob learn who he is, and who he will, in the end, have to save from the monsters. Jean’s scratchy black-and-white line drawings perfectly detail Jacob’s mundane life until he discovers the island’s secrets and color comes winging in. Buy the Novel

After reading the novel I was just so curious about the graphic novel version that I had to buy it which was interesting for all of about 5 mins. The artwork and detail are impressive but the novel conveys the story much better as well as infusing the story with the sinister quality that just makes it so fun!

After all this comic is pretty cool. It leaves out some important details but after all th art is cool and they did a pretty good job. Just a tip for further readers is that it helps a lot if you read the book book before this because it helps you understand it more.

Not a graphic novel fan

the original book is so amazing - but I felt I lost so much with the graphic novel. no pictures really, and the severity of the situation, the character development, and the writing is all missing. seems almost like a plot sketch, instead of the book I love so much

I use the Milestone Deliverables process on every project I lead or support.

I've been working with enterprise level systems implementation projects for many years, and this book provides the most concise and effective guide I have seen. As someone who has implemented many different ERP systems, it's clear that this methodology pulls from best and proven practices across industries and business models, and also serves as testimony to many successful years implementing complex systems.

I have worked with Peter Gross in the past on ERP implementations to great success. I am not a fulltime project manager so when I saw this book, I knew it was one book I needed in my technical library. To have all Peter’s knowledge and experience documented in one place is an incredible find. This is as close to a “How to” manual that you will find for such a complicated process. The forms and templates he includes (from budget the project to mapping, managing and testing) breakdown and simplify a very large and complex processes in to manageable tasks. The detailed examples are clear and very applicable to any ERP implementation. Anyone who is starring down the barrel of an ERP system implementation should really take the time to read this book.
