A Must Have Book for every Woman/A REAL MANUAL

Rabbi Sholom Arush explained that just as how much important it is to take a thourough study (both the road rules and the actual) before driving a car; so to prevent a driver from harming himself/passengers and other drivers how much more in marriage. Both men and women should study about marriage before embarking on it. So as not to clashed with one's spouse and not to lead the marriage into divorce which greatly affects the children as well.

Both the book The Garden of Peace for men and Women's Wisdom are must haves. When both spouse read and observe their respective books together - they will meet in love and peace. These books are truly powerful that it heals up the relationship of spouses even in the brink of divorce. It is such a great blessings that these books has been written-thank G-d!

I wished, I could have learned about Women's Wisdom as early 17 1/2 it could have saved me a lot of pain in preparing for courtship and marriage. This is highly recommended from single women (from marriageble age) to women who has been married even for 50 yrs!

The best books ever!! You'll see and you can't stop recommending it.

Excellent Book, the world would be a better place if more women read this!

I got this book as I entered into a "the woman I want to be journey" and the description was right on! So I started into it, and my "inner angry feminist" started to get very insulted. "How dare a MAN tell me how to be a WOMAN." I could hear the author's writing style in my head and disliked him telling me how I should be and what I should do. I talked so some friends about the book though, and anything that I'd disliked we could step back and think about and reach the conclusion that the author is right! So I started again with an open mind and this book really is making my marriage more peaceful. Some of the advice is hard to swallow at first, but it's worth it! How many more families could benefit from the application of this book?! It may seem a little old-fashioned, but really, the lack of some of these points are what's tearing families apart today. My husband has seen the change in my behavior and has expressed that he wants to read The Garden of Peace for Men- I just ordered it for him!

I'm not Jewish.....

I read a lot of reviews about this book before buying it, and I'm so glad I did buy it. I think it's THE BEST book I've ever read about being a wife. I'm not Jewish so some of the references to that faith don't apply to me; however, there is a lot of practical advice in this book that anyone can use as a wife and mother. I have recommended it to many friends. I've even thought about buying ten copies and just passing them out to friends -- that's how much I feel this book can be life changing!

Refreshing take on an alpha billionaire.

I just downloaded and read this book in one morning, and I'm disappointed. Not by the storyline, or the authors skills at pulling me, nor the word use... I'm disappointed it's over!! As usual I downloaded the story based on the perception it would be another bossy billionaire story with lots of predictable outcomes and ups and downs. Not the case! I actually suspected different outcomes for a majority of the book and I LOVED that it wasn't predictable but still just as read worthy. Great job! For that reason I won't share anything about the storyline but I will say this. The characters are real, the hero appealing and strong but not force fed Alpha, and the women all strong and independent even when leaning on friends. I enjoyed this read and definitely won't forget ;)

One night on her way home from a class on Friday nights, she decided to take a detour to the local all night supermarket. That night she was in a devestating car accident, that stole her memory.
Kris is a young man who takes an intrest in Preslee after seeing her outside of an attorney's office. He simply could not walk away from her and asks her to coffee and to hear her story. She was the girl in an accident and then in a coma for four months.
After the coffee shop hour long conversation he asks her on a date and she agrees.
With a great date and genuine attraction to Preslee the next morning he decides to help her and begins to look into her open case. It looks like the police are getting nowhere and he believes that Preslee deserves justice for what has happend and help with all the bills that are piling up.

This is where the story gets sticky. With a great plot twist and two people who seem made for each other this romance is worth the read.

Luminous Work

I have always loved fairytales, but this beautiful book has greatly increased my respect for Wilhelm and Jacob Grimm as artists. I knew that their intention was to preserve fragments of authentic German culture, but had no idea how much of their own vision had gone into these versions of European folktales. Their unique way of combining their devout Christianity with the ancient Germanic pagan religion is fascinating! I'm interested in not only rereading these tales but in seeing more from this author.

Nice Education on the Grimm Bro's

Interesting book. Its good to know and be clear on how the Grimm brothers Christianized pre-Christian/pagan(?) Irish and Germanic fairy tales. This helps with symbolic "interpretation". No surprise that the author would want to give the tails a Christian slant since he is a Jesuit priest. Nice piece of work. I am interested in the old pre-christianized (pre-Grimm) symbolisms. I really think the original tails may have been attached to sky-constellation myths/stories. Even mention of a female character in a tree jumping from branch to branch--sounded more like a tree of life, working the kabbalah, jewish symbolism...? Nice historic information on how some of these fairy tails go back to ancient Greece and even Egypt. Whenever I hear the number symbolism of the 7's and 12's, my mind goes right to the 12 signs of the zodiac and the 7 "planets" know in older times. Can Noah's "Ark" be the sun traversing through the deep blue (sky) waters of the celestial zoo-diac? Or Noah's Ark being the arc of the heavens upon which the zodiac is written...The Grimm brothers and the author are Christianizing pagan myths- which would be of more value if they were kept pagan. The original symbolism is then clouded and lost, as is our clear perception of the ancient past. The colors of light on the chimneys, for instance was changed. The author included an Appendix C which inspired me to seek out his book on the subject; Yggdrasil. The owl, the raven and the dove...I feel something is still missing about this symbolism. I feel the meanings of these fairy tails are more cosmic. Probably ancient astronomical. Stories written in the stars. My copy is hardback. Worth the read.
